At 42 years old, my high cholesterol
and disappearing curves were my greatest motivation
for losing weight and getting in shape! I chose to
start my day right with some sort of aerobic
exercise or yoga. For breakfast,
I drank Jay
Robb's "Vanilla Egg White Protein Powder: mixed
with kefir, flax seed and water. Since I have slight
hypoglycemia, I immediately noticed that Jay Robb's
Egg White Protein Powder worked well in keeping my
blood sugar even throughout the day. This shake was
amazing because it tasted great and seemed to
eliminate my cravings for sweets. I truly valued
feeling more calm, balanced and less anxious during
the day.
By lunchtime, I was surprised that I still felt full
form my breakfast shake. For the most part, I stuck
to salads with chicken, tuna or salmon. I snacked on
nuts and fruits (I believe in an apple a day.) I
also focused on increasing my daily water intake,
since for me, this an area in dyer need of
improvement. I seemed to be eating less simply
because my appetite began to wan significantly.
Occasionally, on my lunch break, I would even go the
driving range to hit golf balls for some mid day
exercise.
