Ingredients
(Choose organic foods when possible)
1/2 green onion (chopped)
1 oz. Mozzarella cheese
1 whole egg
1 egg white
1 tsp. olive oil
3 cherry tomatoes (washed and cut in half)
6 strawberries (washed, stems removed)
1 slice Mexican papaya
1 apple (peeled, cored and cut into slices)
Directions
Place the egg white and whole egg in a bowl and whip together then pour into a medium heated, non-stick skillet, lightly sprayed with olive oil, cover and cook until the whites are solid. Add the green onions, then sprinkle with the cheese and fold over and slide the omelet onto a large plate. Top this with the cherry tomatoes. Arrange the fresh fruit on the plate and enjoy this amazingly delicious, nutritious, filling, fat burning breakfast.
Note
Bread, toast, rolls, pancakes, cereal or other high carbohydrate, starchy foods are not eaten with this breakfast. Fruit does not cause the same high insulin response grains and most starches do...thus fresh, whole fruit is perfect to consume with a high protein breakfast. Fruit is also alkaline (grains are usually acid forming) making fruit perfect to offset the acid mineral content of protein. Test your acid/alkaline pH balance with litmus paper or pH paper.
