Making Healthy Holiday Snack Selections
No time poses a greater threat to your fat cells, figure and physique than the holidays. Temptation is everywhere…at home, at the office, on the job, at friend's homes, at parties and even at the store where you
shop. Candy, pie, ice cream, whip cream, cheese, nuts, pastries, cookies, doughnuts, candy canes, cider, eggnog, chips, and dip can all cause your body to expand rapidly while sedating your brain and depressing your immune system in the process.
But the holidays don't have to be a time of fatigue, immune depression and weight gain. By making healthy holiday snack selections, and simply learning to say "NO", you can breeze through the holidays without gaining an ounce. Below are a list of decadent food items to avoid along side a list of healthy food items you may indulge in. And remember, the choice is yours…so exercise your free will to choose!
